CCO Research Strategy

Our first formal CCO Research Strategy transforms how we contribute to provincial, national, and international cancer and renal research. It lays out our research plans for the years 2017 to 2020.

The strategic plan: 

• establishes clear directions for research
• establishes research priorities across the organization and alignment with portfolio objectives
• reflects our corporate vision, mission and values

The objective is to make sure that CCO research:

• impacts the patient or person
• impacts the health system
• produces findings that can be implemented

Research Priorities

• Expand the kinds of research CCO undertakes
• Ensure active implementation of evidence
• Increase CCO’s research contribution, impact and partnerships
