CEO Patient Family Advisory Council

At Ontario Health, everything begins with understanding the patient and caregiver experience. By learning from health system users and caregivers, we can help ensure that Ontario is delivering care that is patient-centred and rooted in health equity.

Our President and Chief Executive Officer, Matthew Anderson, established the CEO Patient Family Advisory Council in 2020, shortly after Ontario Health was established, and in recognition of the Connected Care Act.

Having played a critical role in Ontario’s pandemic response, this cross-provincial council continues to give Ontario Health valuable input on topics of provincial strategic importance. These topics include improving the patient, family and caregiver experience, performance measurement, and strategic and business planning.
